From the very beginning, Katy and Scott’s plans were all about keeping things relaxed, having fun and most importantly, spending time with the people who mean the most to them. No fuss, no pressure, just a brilliant day surrounded by family and friends, with plenty of laughter along the way.
Aswanley provided the most gorgeous setting for their celebrations, but it was the people who really made this wedding. The hugs, the happy tears, the belly laughs, the dancefloor antics and all those little interactions that you might not even notice happening at the time.
Katy and Scott wanted their photographs to be a real reflection of their day. Lots of pictures with family and friends, everyone enjoying themselves and all those little moments that can so easily pass you by when you're busy living them.
That's one of my favourite things about wedding photography. It's not just about remembering what your wedding looked like, but remembering how it felt. Being able to look back in years to come and spot the little things you might otherwise have forgotten. The people who were there, the conversations, the laughter and all the moments happening around you.
